After the wood duck and the harlequin duck, here’s another fancy duck for you, the long-tailed duck:

I saw 15 of these small sea ducks close to shore at Cape Spear tonight, they were continuously diving down for food, and didn’t mind the powerful waves pounding the cliffs.

Here are two males and a female, you can clearly see the long tail in this shot:
