The blizzard is long gone, and with the strong winds behind us as well, everyone is digging out of the snow. The power is still off and on so you can’t really ‘do anything’ at home. Our heating and cooking is electrical, we can’t open the fridge too much either, not to mention using the TV or computer. When we finally got into town though, all the gas stations were either closed or simply out of gas! Dozens of cars were looking for fuel at every station, and drove off without success. Without gas we had to scratch our plans of going to Holyrood, where we had hoped to see the seals again. For now, we have decided to conserve our remaining gas, so we can at least drive to work tomorrow, after that who knows what’s next, our tank will be empty…
