A small bergy bit has broken up in Outer Cove, littering the beach with thousands of pieces of ice. Ranging in size from a metre to a little bigger than a normal ice cube, this is a great time to harvest as many ice as you want. You can bring it home in an ice box or little plastic baggies, as I did, and then use it later to make a refreshing drink. Marije told me she is going to make iceberg tea from this ice!
