When I left home today to get groceries, I noticed a white shape out at sea, an iceberg!
With my binoculars I was able to get a closer look at the horizon, which revealed not just this one small bergy bit, but many small pieces of ice floating around. In the far distance, I also saw a bigger iceberg, probably the parent of all these small pieces of ice:
After seeing these bergs from Flatrock I drove to Pouch Cove, there were pieces of ice in the water there too, although they were smaller still than the Flatrock ones. You can see these same icebergs from Torbay and Middle Cove too, and from Logy Bay.
