The snow on the trail had frozen into an icy layer covering the gravel and rocks, it was pretty slippery but I recently bought some ice cleats that I can attach to my winter boots, they worked like a charm.

Flurries came and went during my walk, here’s one overtaking me from the south, it looks like a fog but actually it’s a dense cloud of snowflakes:
