Today was the last day of my mom’s visit to Newfoundland, and we finished that visit with one last boat trip:

Mom and a nearly empty boat – Witless Bay Ecological Reserve

The boat looks pretty empty right? It was just the crew and four passengers, the bare minimum for this tour boat to go out at all. Of course there wasn’t much to see so close to October, the day before this trip there were apparently some finbacks and dolphins in the area but we were just happy to be out on the water.

Gull Island, also empty – Witless Bay Ecological Reserve

Red cliffs – East Coast Trail

Cod fishermen – North Atlantic

Baboul Rocks – Bay Bulls

As last days go, this was certainly a good one.
