Summer stumbled today, with a blustery and rainy 13° Celsius day. It almost seemed like fall was here early. I didn’t mind though, after a long string of warm days my legs could use a day off, you see I feel compelled to go out hiking when the weather is good, so basically I’ve been hitting the trails since April…

Anyway, I used the rainy morning to get some things ready for two visitors that are arriving next week. More on that later. When the rain was done, I took in some fresh air on top of Signal Hill, here’s a nice green summer view of North Head as seen from the Cabot Tower:
