There hasn’t been an iceberg on the East Coast Trail since June 2009, but due to the unusual nature of this year’s iceberg season there’s a tiny chance we may get to see some bergs around here after all.

You see, the 2 massive ‘ice islands’ that slowly drifted from Labrador to Newfoundland have been spawning ice pieces of all sizes all along the way. Right now, a small number of them can be found just off Bonavista, according to
