Today I watched the humpback whales in Outer Cove, almost all of them were getting as close to the cliffs as I’ve seen them get in a long time. One of the smaller humpbacks even appeared to hugging the cliffs, ‘kissing’ the rocks for minutes at a time. Perhaps it was scratching an itch, or maybe it was just scraping some salty snacks off the wall, who knows…
