There was a full moon rising today, drawing me outside and into St. John’s to pursue my hobby project again.
Long-time readers will know I’m referring to the pointless pursuit of photographing a rising moon behind the Cabot Tower on Signal Hill. This hobby is never easy, seldomly exciting and rarely leads to any results; all good reasons for me to call it ‘pointless’.
Every month I give it a go anyway, I’m not sure why, and today was one of those scarce days that the moon and clouds were actually somewhat obliging:
Pleasing as this moonrise may be, this is still not the result I’m looking for.
Good thing there’s always next month.
