There was a full moon rising today, drawing me outside and into St. John’s to pursue my hobby project again.
Long-time readers will know I’m referring to the pointless pursuit of photographing a rising moon behind the Cabot Tower on Signal Hill. This pursuit is never easy, seldomly exciting and rarely leads to any results; all good reasons for me to call it ‘pointless’.
Every month I give it a go anyway, I’m not sure why, and today was one of those rare days that the moon and clouds were actually obliging (see photo above).
Pleasing as this moonrise may be, this is still not the result I’m looking for.
Good thing there’s always next month! 🙂
