Wave watching is winter’s unsung cousin of summer’s well-known whale watching, and today was a good day for it. High waves were breaking on the shallow end of the Beamer in Flatrock, rocketing spray up into the sky with little effort and spectacular results.

On a different note, it seems like we’re finally about to get some snow here in Newfoundland. Let’s hope this time it stays around longer than a few days.
