Yesterday we had all sorts of weather and wildlife encounters. Heavy rain, highway moose, heavier rain, atlantic salmon, fleeting sunshine, a beaver with a disappearing act, fast moving clouds, northern gannets, deep fog, fishing eagles, and even denser fog. About the only thing we didn’t see was ice and snow, although it probably wasn’t far away. All this happened at a place known as the ‘Cape of Torments’ in earlier days, nowadays it’s called Cape St. Mary’s.
