Yesterday was the last day of a 19 day visit by my mom. We spent it well, seeing a lot of things without too much exercise. First stop was the Fluvarium, where we saw a lot of Brown Trout:

After this Brown Trout extravaganza we decided to get on a boat one last time to see some local wildlife. In Mobile there is a small boat tour that goes out to a few different islands than the bigger tour operators in Bay Bulls do, we decided that it was worth a try and guess what: we saw two humpback whales close to the boat!

After the tour we joined up with Marije and enjoyed a last dinner together in St. John’s before we said our farewells at the airport:

Thanks mom, we had a great time again, hope to see you here again next year!
