Yesterday was the last day of a 19 day visit by my mom. We spent it well, seeing a lot of things without too much effort. First stop was the Fluvarium, where we saw a lot of brown trout:

After this brown trout extravaganza we decided to get on a boat one last time to see some local wildlife.

In Mobile there is a small boat tour that goes out to a few islands that the bigger tour operators in Bay Bulls don’t visit very often, so we decided it was worth a try and guess what: we saw two humpback whales close to the boat!

After the tour we joined up with Marije and enjoyed one last dinner together in St. John’s before we said our farewells at the airport:

Thanks mom, we had a great time once more, hope to see you here again next year!
