The last three days we have been hiking almost around the clock, many small hikes on the Grand Concourse and a few bigger ones on the East Coast Trail. We’ve seen all sorts of weather: freezing winds, veiling fog, drenching rains and scorching sunshine. Here are some photos I took of my mom on the trail:

Today, when the day was almost at an end, mom spotted a Minke Whale very close to shore beneath us at Cape Spear!
